About Company
For over 50 years Bromma has delivered spreaders to more than 500 terminals in over 90 countries at 6 continents. All in all, more than 20,000 crane spreaders and rotators have been put into service. In addition to that, more than 10,000 of these are still in operation today. Bromma manufactures up to 2,000 all types of spreaders per a year. In fact, anywhere you go, you’re likely to see a Bromma spreader in action. We are proud to be a pioneer in technological development. As a matter of fact, Bromma has introduced many firsts to crane manufacturer industry: the first telescopic spreader, the first twin-twenty spreader, the first 45 foot spreader and the first all-electric spreader line. That’s why when you choose Bromma you choose cutting edge technology. Our testing, manufacturing and service systems are first-rate. Bromma finite element modeling (FEM) software allows us to study, model and analyze stresses within the spreader. This helps us to understand and predict how spreaders are going to handle accumulated fatigue. Moreover, prior to delivery, every Bromma spreader undergoes extensive testing of functions such as twistlocks, flipper arms and telescopic movements. Our manufacturing plant reflects Bromma’s commitment to excellence in spreader design and manufacturing. As a result, Bromma was awarded ISO3834, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 certification for all its manufacturing sites. At our factories a combination of automated rapid arc welding and manual welding is used. We ensure that welding inspections are performed according to the international standards. In fact, all welding is mainly carried out in specially designed jigs in order to get the best performance possible.
