Accountant – Fastlane Group | Malaysian | Hybrid

We are hiring an experienced Accountant to manage full-set accounts for Hong Kong clients using Xero and other cloud-based accounting tools. You will work closely with overseas clients, support internal finance operations, and supervise junior staff.

Work Arrangement:

• On-site presence required during the initial 6-month probation period.
• Hybrid working model thereafter, with opportunities to collaborate remotely and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts for Hong Kong clients in accordance with HKFRS.
• Maintain accurate client financial records using Xero and other cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, invoices, and other financial documentation.
• Generate monthly and annual financial reports, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements, using Xero, Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting tools.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Support internal finance operations, including client invoicing, cash flow forecasting, and financial tracking.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on accounting projects, automation initiatives, and process improvement activities.
• Use cloud-based HR systems to manage client employee records and support HR-related processes.
• Supervise and review junior staff work, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Professional diploma or degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling Hong Kong-based clients.
• Hands-on experience with Xero is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Excel for financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in spoken Mandarin or Cantonese and English for effective communication with clients and internal teams.
