Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set or partial accounting functions, depending on experience.
• Prepare and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Perform daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and official receipts.
• Process supplier payments and customer collections.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist in SST-related documentation and statutory compliance where applicable.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and customers when required.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for the Account Assistant position.
• Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience is preferred for the Account Executive position.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software (SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, or similar ERP systems) is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the FMCG, food distribution, manufacturing, or trading industry will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of SST regulations and compliance.
• Experience handling payment reconciliations and inventory-related accounting is preferred.
