Barista cum Assistant Supervisor

Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,800 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Barista cum Assistant Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Chinese Speaking café. This role combines beverage preparation, customer service, and assisting the Outlet Supervisor in ensuring smooth and efficient outlet operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve Oatmilk coffee, beverages, and hot kitchen items according to company standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Assist in supervising daily outlet operations and staff performance.
• Support the training and onboarding of new team members.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.
• Assist with cash handling, Xilnex POS transactions, and daily closing procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally.
• Report directly with Operations Manager, mentorship available for keen individuals.
• Support the outlet in achieving sales and operational targets.
• Take charge of outlet operations when stakeholders are unavailable.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in café, F&B, or retail operations.
• Basic barista and beverage preparation skills.
• Leadership experience is an advantage but not required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude with a strong customer service mindset.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
