Senior Service Specialist

The Senior Service Specialist (Barista) plays a dual

role of delivering excellent customer service while taking on leadership

responsibilities within the outlet. In addition to preparing high-quality

beverages and providing a great café experience, the Senior Service Specialist

will guide junior baristas, support outlet operations, and ensure service

excellence is consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beverage & Service Excellence\

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to brand standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all menu items.
• Deliver warm, friendly, and professional customer service.

2. Outlet Operations

• Assist Outlet Manager in overseeing daily café operations.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standard
• Handle cash transactions accurately and monitor daily sales reports when required.
• Manage stock levels and support inventory control.

3. Leadership & Training

• Act as a role model for junior baristas in service delivery and operational standards.
• Guide, mentor, and assist in training new hires on barista skills and customer service.
• Support in scheduling and delegating tasks to ensure smooth workflow.

4. Customer Engagement

• Build strong rapport with customers and manage feedback proactively.
• Resolve service-related issues effectively and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Promote new products and upsell menu items to enhance sales.

Job Requirements

• SPM / Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ barista experience in
• F&B retail (café/coffeehouse environment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, café equipment, and beverage preparation.
• Proven ability to handle customer service and operational duties effectively.
• Leadership skills with ability to guide and motivate a team.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
