We need a versatile video editor and social media manager to be our visual storyteller. You'll take raw event footage, customer testimonials, and expert interviews and transform them into engaging video content that builds our brand presence on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and our website. You're not just an editor—you're a content strategist who understands how to repurpose content effectively across channels.

What You'll Do

Core Responsibilities (Video Editing - 60%)

• Edit raw footage from our sleep wellness events, workshops, and customer testimonials into polished, engaging videos
• Create multiple formats from single recordings: long-form YouTube videos, short social clips, teasers, and highlight reels
• Add brand-consistent graphics, captions, music, and smooth transitions that match our calming, professional aesthetic
• Ensure all videos maintain high audio/visual quality and align with our brand voice—educational yet approachable
• Optimize videos for each platform (format, dimensions, length, captions)

Social Media Content Management (40%)

• Upload and schedule edited video content across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, website blog)
• Write compelling captions and descriptions that encourage engagement
• Create simple supporting graphics (using Canva templates) to promote video content
• Monitor and respond to comments on video posts (basic community management)
• Provide monthly performance insights on video engagement and reach

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has 2-3+ years experience editing videos for social media (portfolio required)
• Is proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro or capcut and comfortable with Canva for graphics
• Understands the technical specs and best practices for YouTube, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn Video, and website embeds
• Can work independently with minimal direction but asks smart questions
• Has a good eye for storytelling—knowing what moments to highlight and how to pace content
• Is organized and can manage a content calendar and asset library
• Bonus: Experience with sleep, wellness, or health-related content
• Bonus: Basic understanding of SEO for YouTube (titles, descriptions, tags)

What You'll Need to Show Us

1. Your portfolio of edited videos, especially before/after examples or multi-platform repurposing
2. A quick edit test (we'll provide 5 minutes of raw footage for you to create one 60-second Instagram Reel and one 30-second LinkedIn clip)
3. Your availability and typical turnaround time for projects
