Employer Information:

Thadu Consulting Corporation provides consulting services to Indigenous communities, primarily in the mining and natural resource sector. The company also delivers ecotourism experiences on Indigenous lands and produces related digital and educational content. 

 

Job Duties:

Thadu Consulting Corporation is looking for an experienced full-time Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing and development of its ecotourism activities.

 

1.  Plan and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s ecotourism services and Indigenous relations initiatives

2.  Produce and capture photo and video content in outdoor and wilderness environments to support marketing campaigns and brand storytelling

3.  Edit and prepare digital content for publication, ensuring timely posting across social media, website and video platforms

4.  Manage and monitor the company’s social media channels, engage with audiences, track feedback and maintain online community presence

5.  Analyze the performance of marketing and advertising campaigns and prepare summaries or reports for management

6.  Assist leadership in identifying marketing opportunities and recommending promotional approaches for various target audiences

7.  Maintain and update website content, visuals and service descriptions to ensure accurate and consistent branding

8.  Draft and prepare written communications, such as email campaigns, announcements, presentations, newsletters, promotional materials and briefing notes

9.  Support public relations initiatives, including outreach to clients, partners, community groups and media contacts

10.Coordinate logistics for marketing-related workshops, field events, and client activities, including travel arrangements, registrations and document preparation

11.Conduct basic market research to understand audience interests and support campaign planning

12.Collaborate with management on content development, messaging, and overall communication strategy

13.Work with external contractors when required, reviewing deliverables to ensure consistency with company standards

14.Train or guide team members on social media best practices, content workflow and digital tools as needed

15.Organize and maintain media libraries, digital files and marketing documentation for internal use

 

Requirements:

  1. Minimum five years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or digital content management
  2. Strong English communication skills (spoken, written and reading) to support client communication, public outreach and internal coordination
  3. Experience producing digital content, including photo and video assets, to support online marketing and promotional activities
  4. Ability to capture content in outdoor or remote environments when required and follow safe working practices during field assignments.
  5. Proficiency with digital tools such as social media publishing platforms, website content management systems, and video editing software 
  6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate contractors and meet deadlines
  7. Valid driver’s license is an asset
