- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security guards to ensure round-the-clock protection of company premises.
- Conduct regular patrols and spot checks to ensure security procedures are followed.
- Liaise with security service providers, local police, and authorities on security-related matters.
- Manage incident reports involving theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access, and recommend preventive actions.
- Ensure all security equipment is well-maintained and in working condition.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's Occupational, Safety, and Health (OSH) programs and policies.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Maintain compliance with DOSH, DOE, Bomba, and the local authority requirements.
- Coordinate Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities, fire drills, and first aid training
- Prepare and submit safety reports, records, and documents in a timely manner.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and discipline among employees.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Security Management, Environmental Health, or related field.
- Register with DOSH as a Safety & Health Coordinator (OSH-C) / Officer (SHO)
- Security-related certification (e.g. KDN / PDRM) will be an added advantage
- Minimum1-2 years of related experience in safety and security coordination
- Strong understanding of OSH Act 1994, Factories and Machinery Act 1967, and Fire Service Act 1988.
- Experience in managing security teams, CCTV operations, and OSH programs.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and security management.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and report writing
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently
- Willing to work on extended hours, weekends, or during emergencies if needed
- Possess own transport and valid driving license. (GDL is an advantage)
