• Develop creative design concepts, layouts, and space planning based on client requirements
• Prepare detailed drawings including layout plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
• Produce 3D visualizations and presentations for client approval
• Manage and oversee projects from concept development to final completion
• Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Attend site meetings, monitor site progress, and ensure design intent is properly executed
• Handle project timeline, scheduling, and ensure deadlines are met
• Review and ensure quality of workmanship and materials used on site
• Provide solutions to technical issues and design challenges during project execution
• Lead, guide, and review work of junior designers
• Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and material selections to clients
• Ensure all designs comply with company standards, client expectations, and relevant regulations
• Assist in cost control by working closely with QS and ensuring design aligns with project budget
• Conduct monthly training sessions for junior team members on design skills, technical knowledge, and industry best practices
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the entire project lifecycle (IDC & IDB) until project completion and handover

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Interior Design (residential/commercial)
• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field
• Strong design sense with excellent space planning skills
• Proficient in technical drawings, detailing & design documentation
• Good knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Ability to work independently and lead projects
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Willing to travel and attend site visits when required
