Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mandarin Language Teacher to join our tuition centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the language, a student-centred teaching approach, and the ability to inspire learners of different age groups to develop confidence and proficiency in the language.

Key Responsibilities
•Plan and deliver engaging and effective language lessons aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives
•Teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills to students at varying proficiency levels
•Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials
•Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and regular feedback
•Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
•Maintain a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment
•Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement
•Prepare students for school exams, assessments, or language proficiency tests (if applicable)
•Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and academic planning activities

Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in the relevant language or education (preferred)
•Teaching certification or prior teaching experience is an advantage
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage students effectively
•Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching
•Familiarity with online teaching tools (for online or hybrid classes, if applicable)
