About the Role:

TransPerfect Connect is looking for highly fluent Mandarin-speaking professionals to join our growing team as Mandarin Interpreters. In this role, you will facilitate accurate and professional communication between Mandarin and English speakers while maintaining clarity, cultural sensitivity, and confidentiality.

This position is ideal for candidates who possess excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English and are comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between Mandarin and English speakers

• Interpret conversations clearly and professionally during phone or video calls

• Maintain neutrality and confidentiality at all times

• Listen carefully and relay messages without adding, omitting, or changing information

• Handle customer interactions professionally while ensuring excellent communication flow

• Follow interpretation protocols, quality standards, and company guidelines

• Manage calls efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Report technical or communication issues when necessary

• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professionalism during all interactions

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English is REQUIRED (spoken and comprehension)

• Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Previous interpreting, BPO, or customer service experience is an advantage

• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

• Willing to work night shifts and full-time schedules

Functional camera

USB wired headset with microphone and noise-cancelling feature

Ethernet/LAN cable connection (Wi-Fi is not allowed)

Compensation and Benefits:
