Job Description

Company Overview: A fast-growing e-commerce company known for high-quality, affordable products. We are currently in a critical growth phase as we prepare to launch our brand-new mobile app. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how the Malaysian public discovers and interacts with our platform for the very first time.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Product Marketing & Training Specialist who is ready to be the "Face of the Launch." Since this is a new app, the public does not yet know how to use it, or why they need it. Your job is to change that. You will lead the charge in introducing the app to the market, hosting launch events, taking the stage to pitch the vision, and ensuring that both our internal teams and the public are ready for "Day One."

Key Responsibilities:

1. Launch Events & Stage Speaking (Market Activation)

  • The "Launch Voice": Serve as the lead presenter for our official App Launch events, roadshows, and media briefings. You will take the stage to deliver high-energy presentations that generate immediate excitement.
  • Demo & Convert: Perform live demonstrations at pop-up booths and ground events. You must be able to turn a curious bystander into a registered user within minutes.
  • Crowd Engagement: Host and emcee offline marketing activities, ensuring the energy remains high and the product messaging is clear.

2. Public Education (Zero-to-One Training)

  • First-Time User Experience: Design the educational journey for a brand-new user. Create the "Getting Started" guides and workshops that make the app feel simple and intuitive from the very first login.
  • Value storytelling: Since the app is new, you must articulate its "Meaning." Explain not just the features, but how this app solves problems that competitors don't.
  • Rapid Content Creation: Produce quick "How-to" videos and social media clips to support the marketing team during the launch blitz.

3. Internal Readiness (Train-the-Trainer)

  • Pre-Launch Briefings: Before the app goes live, you must ensure every member of the marketing and sales team knows the product inside out. You are responsible for their product confidence.
  • Unified Messaging: Ensure that the external agencies and internal staff are using the correct terminology and selling points during the chaotic launch period.

4. Early Feedback Loop

  • Bug Hunter: As a new app, there will be glitches. You will act as the frontline filter, gathering user complaints and confusion during events and immediately relaying them to the Tech Team for rapid fixing.

Requirements:

Experience & Attitude:

  • Launch Experience: Experience working with a new product launch or in a start-up environment is highly preferred. You must be comfortable navigating the uncertainty and fast pace of a new release.
  • Stage Presence: Proven ability to speak on stage. You are not just a trainer; you are a performer who can hold an audience's attention.
  • Resilience: Launching a new app is high-pressure. You must be adaptable, positive, and solution-oriented when things don't go exactly to plan.

Core Competencies:

  • Public Speaking: Excellent emceeing and presentation skills (Mandarin proficiency is a major bonus for local crowd engagement).
  • Product Evangelism: You must genuinely believe in the product. Your excitement needs to be contagious.
  • Tech Adaptability: Ability to learn a product that is constantly being updated and improved day by day.
