About the role

As a Business Development at Sunton Railway Trading Sdn. Bhd (a sister company of PT BSR in Malaysia), you will play a crucial role in the company's growth strategy. Responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities through a tender process, you will be a key contributor to the organisation's success. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

• Actively search for and identify new tender & business opportunities aligned with the company's capabilities and goals especially in Oil & Gas Industry in Malaysia
• Prepare and submit high-quality tender proposals that showcase Sunton Railway Trading Sdn Bhd's expertise and competitive advantages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tender submissions are comprehensive and compliant
• Monitor tender process progress and provide regular updates to key stakeholders
• Analyse tender outcomes and provide recommendations to improve future submissions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to the tender process

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree from any major.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Marketing or Business Development in Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong understanding of the sales cycle and tender submission best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. able to speak Chinese Language is a plus.
• Knowledge of the local market and industry regulations would be an advantage
