Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions
• Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
• Develop, evaluate and implement new manufacturing techniques or equipment.
• Compile, analyze production data and track production performance and maintenance activities.
• Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance Department to identify and implement on-going quality improvement.
• Certify, train and upgrade workers skill and knowledge through identified training program.
• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
• Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
• Ensure discipline, safety rules, and 5S practices are consistently followed within the work area.
• Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or Production Management
• 2-3 years experience in manufacturing/metal stamping
• Knowledge and experience of Automation Process/Production (Added advantage)
• Knowledge of Microsoft application
