The Chief Product Officer (CPO) is a senior executive leadership role responsible for defining and executing the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company. The CPO will lead, mentor, and expand our product management team, ensuring that our platform remains competitive, user-friendly, and at the cutting edge of the crypto industry. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, financial markets, user experience, and a proven ability to deliver world-class products at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives, market trends, and user needs within the cryptocurrency exchange landscape.
• Product Roadmap Ownership: Own and manage the entire product roadmap, from ideation to launch and iteration, ensuring effective prioritization and resource allocation across various product lines (e.g., spot trading, derivatives, DeFi integration, NFTs, staking, payment solutions, security features, UX/UI improvements).
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and user-centricity.
• Market & User Research: Drive deep market research, competitive analysis, and user insights to identify new opportunities, validate product concepts, and understand evolving user behaviors and pain points.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, compliance, legal, operations, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies for new product features and launches.
• Performance & Metrics: Establish and monitor key product performance metrics (KPIs), using data to inform product decisions, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate business impact.
• Innovation & R&D: Drive continuous innovation, staying abreast of the latest blockchain developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to keep the exchange at the forefront of the industry.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product strategy, progress, and performance to executive leadership, the board, and other key stakeholders.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure all product developments adhere to relevant regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, data privacy) and prioritize the highest standards of security for user assets and data.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with a significant portion (at least 5+ years) in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Product, VP of Product) within a cryptocurrency exchange, FinTech company, or a high-growth technology platform.
• Demonstrated success in defining, launching, and iterating on complex products that have achieved significant market adoption and user satisfaction.
• Deep and nuanced understanding of the cryptocurrency industry, including blockchain technology, tokenomics, trading mechanisms (spot, futures, options), DeFi, NFTs, and the regulatory landscape.
• Proven ability to lead and scale product teams, with strong mentorship and team-building skills.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong data-driven approach to product development.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across all levels of an organization.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and rapidly evolving environment.
• Global mindset with experience operating in diverse markets is a plus.
