Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and review the project turnaround scopes involving manpower and materials starting from kick off meeting until project handover.

• Liaise with engineering team, suppliers, sub-contractors, customer and consultant on the technical design, work processes and site work (if applicable).

• Review and monitor sub-contractor’s work progress in order to meet the customer’s requirements and handover dateline.

• Coordinate and witness all factory and site testing (FAT & SAT) for instruments, equipment and automation system (if applicable).

• To report and assist Project Manager (PM) on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, etc. to meet the project goals.

• Preparation of drawing(s) and safety document(s) for the project team.

• Documentation and follow up on important actions and decisions made during meetings.

• Prepare project progress weekly reports to customer and internal management.

• Ensure proper management of project documentation for each project.

• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
