We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor/Project Engineer (C&S) to join our team at Hong Poh Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang. As a full-time employee, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient project management.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, including monitoring construction progress, quality, and safety
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during projects
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and company policies
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment to support project timelines
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
• Prepare detailed progress reports and documentation for project management
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar site supervisor or project engineer role within the construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
