Retail Sales Assistant

Job Requirements

• Possess a minimum of Secondary/SPM/'O' Level qualification.
• Open to fresh graduates and entry-level candidates seeking to begin a career in retail sales.
• Demonstrate strong sales and customer service skills to effectively assist customers and achieve sales targets.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia to interact with diverse customers.
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Ability to manage inventory effectively, including stocktaking and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, actively listening to their needs, and offering styling advice to help them select the perfect eyewear.
• Achieve individual and team sales goals by effectively promoting range of eyewear, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses, and upselling accessories.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of products, promotions, and services, and effectively communicate this information to customers.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and manage customer accounts.
• Assist in maintaining the visual appeal of the store by ensuring that displays are clean, organized, and stocked with the latest eyewear collections.
• Conduct inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing regular stock counts to minimize discrepancies.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating complex issues to the store manager as needed.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing knowledge.
