Regarding the role, as the job title suggests, you will assist the Sales and Marketing team with their day-to-day activities. You will ensure both yourself and the team remain organised, using strong communication skills to build positive relationships with our clients and internal stakeholders.

This is a physical role. While meetings, briefings, and emails are part of the job, you will spend most of your day on your feet—out in the community and beyond—meeting current and prospective clients, engaging with guests, and supporting your team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may vary, and other duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administrative and business travel tasks of the Sales Department.
• Ensure quality service and operations by building trusting and positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Maintain accurate and complete sales operational and transaction records.
• Answer customer queries accurately and in a timely manner, when requested.
• Maintain company databases and ensure confidentiality in line with IHG standards and procedures.
• Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of departmental operations to ensure services are delivered to guests and internal customers, with the aim of exceeding expectations and adhering to IHG standards and procedures.
• Take responsibility for the coordination and monitoring of all sales-related business.
• Ensure all back-of-house billing is accurately submitted to the Finance Department.
• Implement or suggest corrective measures in cases of unsatisfactory work practices.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of associates working within the department(s).
• Apply the Kimpton culture by consistently demonstrating standards to guests and fellow associates.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, as well as Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur and IHG policies.
