Your Role

As a Business Development Executive (Merchant Acquisition), you’ll be part of a team responsible for expanding MOBY’s merchant network across Klang Valley and the rest of Malaysia.

You’ll recruit and build strong relationships with local merchants, helping them adopt MOBY’s payment ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential merchants (SMEs, F&B, retail, services, etc.)
  • Present and explain MOBY’s digital payment solutions — including product demos and feature walkthroughs (dashboard analytics, loyalty programs and cashback features).
  • Conduct on-site visits and meetings with decision-makers.
  • Close merchant deals (with support from internal team).
  • Achieve or exceed individual merchant acquisition targets.
  • Provide insights and feedback from the field to improve processes, materials, and strategy.
  • Manage and expand client relationships post-onboarding by ensuring ongoing satisfaction and continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.


Requirements

  • Full-time role, based in Klang Valley, and willing to travel locally.
  • Possess own transport (car preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and outgoing personality.
  • Experience in B2B sales, fintech, or merchant acquisition is an advantage.
  • Minimum qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
