Job Description: Software Tester

Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team in Puchong Jaya. In this role, you will play a critical part in the development lifecycle by ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with developers to identify, report, and resolve bugs before deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing, including Functional, Unit, and Integration testing to ensure software stability.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms (iOS & Android) to improve testing efficiency.
• Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools; work closely with developers to verify fixes.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance and stress testing to ensure the system can handle high traffic and data loads.
• Database Verification: Use SQL queries to perform back-end testing and verify data integrity.
• Documentation: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in SQL and version control systems like Git.
• Experience with Test Automation tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with both Web and Mobile (iOS/Android) testing.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a "break-it" mentality to find hidden flaws.
• Communication: Ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
