We are a corporation organized and duly registered under existing laws of the Philippines. In 1990, we expanded our operations to include nondestructive testing and engineering inspection services. We are proud to say that Filconfab, Inc. is the first Filipino inspection company with a level 3 examiner in radiography qualified and certified (by examination) by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in accordance with the ISO Standard ISO/TC 135/SC 7 N 35-3 in a Regional Model Qualification Examination given by Dr. N. Ooka, of the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute, for the IAEA. This qualification examination was given to representatives from twelve (12) countries in the Asia-Pacific Region in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In addition, we are likewise the first Filipino inspection company to have a level 3 examiner in radiography and ultrasonic testing qualified and certified (by examination) by the Philippine National
Certifying Body for Nondestructive Testing (NCB-NDT) in accordance with the Philippine National Standard PNS 146:1987 in an examination given by Mr. Roy Gilmour, an IAEA expert, for the NCB-NDT in Manila, Philippines.
Because of our state-of-the-art testing equipment and employing qualified personnel who have had extensive experience in various fields of construction, fabrication and in-service inspection, we have been serving the NDT and PWHT requirements of companies like Caltex, Shell, PNOC, Fluor Daniel, Bechtel, Mitsubishi Heavy Industry, Brown & Root, Halliburton, Foster Wheeler, Mcconnel Dowell, John Holland, Nacap, NPC and Interbeton just to name a few. We have also done work for organizations like SGS, ABS Inspection Verification and TUV Bayern.
