Trends Travelmart International Corporation is a Filipino owned corporation established in 1989 by entrepreneurial travel experts with a vision and passion to create a culture of service and professionalism in the travel industry. On its initial stage, it was focused on the outbound sector of the business.
Barely a year after operation, Trends Travelmart International Corporation was accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the worldwide umbrella organization of all major airlines and travel agencies. Also on the same year, 1990, the company became a member of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), and the Makati Chamber of Commerce (MCC). These were significant milestones in the company's growth and expansion.
In 1993, Trends Travelmart International Corporation ventured into inbound operations to help promote the Philippine tourism industry. It received its accreditation from the two government agencies in the forefront of the country's tourism industry, the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation (PCVC).
In 2000, the Company has gone through continuous improvement, in the pursuit of excellence, receiving the ISO 9000 Certificate of Registration from Lloyds Quality Assurance Registry.
In 2002, Trends Travelmart International Corporation together with other Travel Agencies founded the Philippine Marine Travel Agencies Association (PMTAA), the country's prime organization of top travel agents serving the Marine industry. The group has since then established a strong strategic position with the Airlines and the Global Market.
Trends Travelmart International Corporation has continuously grown in the corporate and leisure market. The continuing training and development of its staff has allowed it to effectively serve various Pharmaceutical, Government and Non-Governmental Organizations, IT and Manufacturing companies and International Schools. It has also become a preferred travel partner of the F.I.T (Foreign Individual Travelers)/ Leisure market for its warm and personalized service.
In 2005, Trends Travelmart International Corporation became part of the International Marine Travel Group (IMTG,) a global network with direct link in Australia, Greece, Holland, India, Singapore, United Kingdom, Russia and China. While in 2010, the Company joined the International Travel Partnership (ITP), a global alliance of sixty-one (61) independent travel agencies worldwide with a strong multinational business portfolio. These global partners provides the competitive edge to serve the demands of the Marine market, Corporate and F.I.T. Clients.
In its strong commitment to Quality Service and Quality Management System, the Company has maintained its ISO Certification through the years; 1SO 9001-2000 Certified by the Societe' Generale De Survillance (SGS) in 2006, ISO 9001:2008 Certified by TUV-SUD in 2009, and ISO 9001:2015 Certified by TUV-SUD in 2018. Trends Travelmart International Corporation takes pride for being one of the few travel agencies in the world that has passed the rigid accreditation of three prestigious certifying organizations
