Job Summary:

An experienced Piping Designer to support engineering and construction projects in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting piping systems for upstream, midstream, or downstream facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop piping layouts based on P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and engineering inputs.
• Create and modify 3D models of equipment, structure, piping, and support using AutoCAD Plant 3D or AVEVA E3D software.
• Ensure proper pipe routing, spacing, and support placement to meet design standards and avoid clashes.
• Prepare isometric, orthographic, and support drawings for fabrication and construction.
• Generate and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and line lists.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure the quality of deliverables and compliance with project standards.
• Participate in training programs and technical workshops to enhance knowledge and stay current with industry trends.

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

• A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• Has at least 2 years of experience in pipe routing design, piping isometrics, piping layout/plan drawings, support selection, support fabrication drawings, and material take-off.
• Proficient in 3D modelling software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D or AVEVA E3D.
• Skilled in 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with industry codes and standards (JIS, ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Capable of independently organizing and prioritizing work assignments, coordinating various tasks, and maintaining attention to detail while managing conflicting priorities and deadlines.
• Willing to participate in meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Adaptable to dynamic work environments and changing project requirements
