Description

The Accounting Manager, who reports directly to the CEO, is a key functional specialist in the business and oversees all corporate finance and accounting activities. Consolidating financial results, monthly forecasting, managing the Annual Operating Plan, tax and accounting primary guidance, treasury management, and credit management are all part of the job. The Accounting Manager will ensure the financials' integrity and accuracy, as well as the speed and efficiency of data management and financial reporting, as well as continual development in data analytics and reporting.


This role will be based out of our head office in Calamba, Quezon City, and will report from Monday to Friday in a compressed work week schedule.


Key Responsibilities:



The following include key functions of the role, but are not limited to:

  • Reviews/Prepares monthly financial reports and communicates significant variances on a timely basis, including coordinating adjustments when needed.
  • Manages credit compliance and all external reporting.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities related to the annual budget and monthly forecasting process.
  • Coordinates periodic financial reviews/audits with outside audit and tax firms as required.
  • Participate as a strategic business partner on cross-functional teams to help drive organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement
  • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
  • Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
  • Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
  • Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders, and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
  • Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to make strategic decisions based on insights.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies to differentiate the clinic in a competitive market.
  • Ability to assess and manage financial risks.
