JOB SUMMARY

Leads the Fixed Asset Management team and is responsible for accurately tracking, valuing, and maintaining our fixed assets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting efficient operations.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Fixed Asset Tracking and Valuation:

a. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all fixed assets, including land, buildings, equipment, and vehicles.

b. Conduct regular physical inspections to verify the condition and location of assets.

c. Collaborate with relevant departments to determine asset values, depreciation schedules, and useful lives.


2. Asset Accounting and Reporting:

a. Prepare and maintain fixed asset records in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.

b. Monitor and calculate depreciation, impairment, and disposal of assets in compliance with relevant accounting standards.

c. Assist in preparing reports and statements related to fixed assets in compliance with the company’s ERP.


3. Compliance and Auditing:

a. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audits related to fixed assets.

b. Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements and international accounting standards.


4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

a. Work closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of asset management processes.

b. Provide guidance and training to staff members involved in asset management and related activities.


5. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or the management


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Education : Graduate of any four- year course

Experience : Preferably with work experience as an asset management staff. Must be proficient in MS excel and word

Other / Special Skills : Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels; proactive with minimal supervision; process-oriented, structured, and organized; high ethical and compliance standards
