JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Baker to join our team and contribute to the preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality baked goods. The Baker will be responsible for following established recipes to prepare a wide range of breads, pastries, and other bakery items.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Baker to join our team and contribute to the preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality baked goods. The Baker will be responsible for following established recipes to prepare a wide range of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items, while ensuring consistency, taste, and quality. Key duties include preparing and measuring ingredients, operating baking equipment, monitoring baking times and temperatures, and decorating finished products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation: Set up the workstation, measure and weigh ingredients, and mix them according to recipes.
• Production: Knead, roll, cut, and shape dough; fill and prepare pans or molds; and operate ovens, monitoring the baking process.
• Finishing: Decorate baked goods with glazes, icings, and other toppings.
• Quality control: Check the appearance, taste, texture, and expiration dates of products to ensure they meet standards.
• Sanitation: Keep the workstation clean and hygienic in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Inventory and ordering: Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, and place orders when necessary.
• Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of baking operations, inventory, and production levels.

QUALIFICATION:

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic working knowledge of all relevant machinery used in food production.
• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/ Short Courses or any related field.
• Knowledge & Skills, Passion, Team Player, Communication Skills, Integrity.
• Must be creative in order to handle products research and design.
• With at least 2-3 years relevant experience preferably in the same field that specialized in baking pastry, bread, pie and cake.
