Job Description

Barista/Service Crew

1. Customer Service

  • Greet customers courteously and take orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure a welcoming and pleasant dining experience for all patrons.


2. Beverage and Food Preparation

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards and recipes.
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment efficiently.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage items are presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner.


3. Cash Handling & Order Management

  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
  • Handle various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and e-wallets.
  • Issue receipts and ensure correct billing procedures are followed.


4. Cleaning & Hygiene Compliance

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workspace, dining area, and kitchen in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize all equipment, utensils, and workstations.


5. Stock Management & Inventory Control

  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as required.
  • Report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor or manager.
  • Ensure that all ingredients and supplies are stored properly to maintain quality and freshness.


6. Teamwork & Operational Support

  • Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines at all times.


This role requires a proactive and customer-oriented approach, with a commitment to maintaining service excellence and operational efficiency.

Proficiency in Chinese language is a plus.
