Description

Responsible for driving the company’s customer growth and partnership conversions in the Web3 space, connecting global project teams with K1 Research. Liaise with project founders, core teams, and investors to understand their real needs at different development stages (early stage, growth stage, pre- and post-IPO), and translate these requirements into structured, actionable collaboration plans. Through close coordination with research, marketing, and delivery teams, clearly communicate K1 Research’s local insights, resource network, and hands-on experience in APAC, especially the Korean market, to help clients achieve long-term, sustainable growth.

• Manage and expand K1 Research’s inbound BD pipeline, efficiently respond to inquiries from project teams, funds, and partners, quickly assess clients’ real needs, budgets, and project stages, and convert them into implementable collaboration opportunities.
• Conduct targeted outbound business development focused on core services such as research reports, APAC market entry, exchange listings, fundraising, and community & marketing activation, proactively identifying high-potential Web3 projects and long-term collaboration partners.
• Collaborate closely with research, marketing, and delivery teams to tailor proposals and pitches based on client background and stage, clearly conveying K1 Research’s differentiated advantages, local resources, and execution capabilities in APAC, particularly in the Korean market.
• Lead the full BD process from lead qualification and solution design to commercial negotiation and deal closure, consistently advancing project collaborations and delivering predictable, sustainable revenue growth for the company.
• Continuously track Web3 industry trends, core narratives, and competitive landscapes, feeding frontline market feedback into service design, pricing strategies, and content direction to drive iterative optimization of products and services.

Requirements

• Experience in business development, sales, or customer success within the Web3 industry, with familiarity in research, consulting, market, or agency service models.
• Clear understanding of core Web3 service offerings, including research, fundraising, exchange listing, and community & marketing activation, with the ability to accurately assess client stage and real needs.
• Proven ability to independently drive the entire process from needs identification and proposal development to deal conversion, taking full ownership of results.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously, with strong prioritization skills and the ability to maintain delivery quality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage in efficient, professional dialogue with founders, C-level executives, researchers, and technical teams.
• High sensitivity to industry developments, with a willingness to track Web3 narrative evolution, market changes, and competitive dynamics over the long term.
• English proficiency as a primary working language preferred, with the ability to communicate across time zones.
