THE POSITION: Business Development Executive


As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our partner network. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new restaurants in Malaysia that can benefit from the innovative Yield Management services provided through the Eatigo platforms. 


Reporting directly to the Country BU Head, you will be a key member of our Sales & Business Development Team. We are looking for a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, remains resilient under pressure, and is proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Strategic Partner Acquisition:
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new restaurants in Malaysia who can benefit from Eatigo's services.
  • Leverage market insights and networking specifically within the Malaysia F&B industry to generate leads.
  • Utilize a mix of outreach methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, and local partnerships.
  • Value Proposition & Negotiation:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the market for restaurants in Malaysia.
  • Conduct compelling presentations and pitches to clearly demonstrate the value and benefits of partnering with Eatigo.
  • Negotiate merchant agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both parties, including pricing and contractual details relevant to the local market.
  • Partner Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with prospective and new restaurant partners, understanding their specific needs and challenges in Malaysia.
  • Serve as their primary point of contact, providing support and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, such as Sales Operations in Malaysia, to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all partner acquisition activities comply with relevant Malaysia regulations and company policies.
  • Manage all necessary documentation accurately and efficiently, adhering to internal processes.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Diploma in any field (Fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform and strengthen client conversations.
  • Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Resourceful, quick learner, and capable of independent work.
  • Native proficiency in Thai and Professional proficiency in English are highly advantageous.
