- Blueprint interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans to determine the scope of work, materials needed, and layout.
- Structural work: Build and repair wooden structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and frameworks, and install fixtures like doors and windows.
- Finishing: Install and finish interior and exterior elements like trim, molding, cabinetry, and shelving.
- Material handling: Measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials accurately with hand tools and power tools.
- Assembly: Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, adhesives, and other hardware.
