The Computer Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and network systems. This role ensures that all IT equipment and systems are functioning efficiently to support the company’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
• Provide technical support to staff through in-person, phone, or remote assistance.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Set up workstations, network connections, and user accounts.
• Ensure security of systems by updating antivirus, firewalls, and other protective measures.
• Document repairs, updates, and technical issues for record-keeping.
• Assist in upgrading systems and supporting IT projects when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (undergraduates with strong knowledge may also apply).
• NC II certification in Computer Systems Servicing or equivalent (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Computer Technician or in a related IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and troubleshooting methods.
• Familiarity with networking (LAN/WAN), internet protocols, and security practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to be assigned on-site as required.
