Job Objective/s

A Wine Sales Executive is responsible for developing sales strategies, informing clients about new products, creating annual sales plans, identifying potential clients, conducting staff training, organizing wine deliveries for events, keeping the sales team updated on product changes, analyzing market trends, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and representing the winery at trade events


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Update clients on new product launches
  • Create an annual sales plan
  • Identify new clients for the winery's products
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities
  • Help to develop marketing strategies
  • Implement marketing strategies
  • Conduct wine sales analysis and action plans based on their sales analysis.
  • Coordinate with the logistic team to ensure an adequate supply of wine
  • Perform all wine sales with respect to applicable laws
  • Be the face of the company at trade events
  • Support clients


Qualifications:

  • Preferably with WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) certificate.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years sales experience in the wine industry
  • Graduate of any 4-year Course
  • Ideally, some experience in a marketing role
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Sales skills and the ability to influence people
  • A people person who can build strong relationships with people in the industry
  • Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good computer skills
  • Analytical skills and ability to translate complex sales reports into meaningful business knowledge
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about wines
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Preferably with WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) Cert.
