Oversee the credit and collections processes, ensuring timely and efficient management of customer accounts
Analyze customer credit profiles and set appropriate credit limits and terms
Implement and monitor credit policies and procedures to minimize bad debt exposure
Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to identify and mitigate credit risks
Lead a team of credit and collections specialists, providing guidance, coaching and performance management
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the credit and collections function
Prepare and present regular reports on the company's credit and collections performance

Minimum 5 years' experience in a credit and collections role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Proven track record of developing and implementing effective credit and debt collection strategies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in using credit management software and customer information systems
Thorough understanding of relevant credit regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to lead and motivate a team of credit and collections specialists
