We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our growing team. Position Summary:

The Network Security Engineer (NSE) is responsible for supporting, managing, and securing a wide range of network security infrastructures. This includes firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, and OCI. You will work hands-on with industry-leading technologies from Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, F5, and Juniper.

Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork & Security Operations:

• Manage security devices and maintain network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents.
• Review security advisories and assess potential impact on managed environments.
• Ensure configuration consistency across multiple client infrastructures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
• Support junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Testing, Validation & Continuous Learning

• Validate infrastructure changes in lab or sandbox environments.
• Test patches and firmware updates prior to production deployment.
• Simulate client environments to troubleshoot security issues.
• Evaluate device responses to new threats and vulnerabilities.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate logs of actions, communications, and system changes.
• Update technical and operational documentation.
• Ensure documentation supports audits and repeatable troubleshooting processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations.
• At least 2 years of hands-on network security experience (firewalls, network access controls).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and BGP routing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and deadline-driven.
