【Urgent Hiring】Experienced Electrical Design Engineer ＜Cebu＞

Job Summary:

Responsible for designing electrical systems for industrial machinery and factory equipment, including power distribution, control circuits, PLC programs, and control panels. Performs prototyping, functional verification, and technical documentation while coordinating with manufacturing teams and clients to ensure safety, efficiency, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Power Distribution & Circuit Design
• Create electrical schematics (circuit/wiring diagrams)
• Evaluate power supplies, control circuits, and sensors
• Select components such as relays, switches, power supplies, and sensors
• Control Panel & PCB Design
• Design control panel layouts and PCB circuits
• Evaluate thermal, noise, and insulation requirements
• PLC and Control Program Development
• Develop PLC programs and touch panel interfaces
• Review and improve control logic
• Prototyping and Functional Verification
• Perform electrical checks and testing (withstand voltage, insulation, functional tests, safety tests)
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Coordination with Manufacturing and Customers
• Ensure design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Propose cost reduction solutions
• Modify designs to meet client specifications
• Technical Documentation
• Prepare schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, BOMs, test reports, manuals, and design specifications

Requirements:

• Fundamental knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
• Proficiency in CAD/ECAD software (ECAD, EPLAN, OrCAD, etc.)
• Knowledge of PLC systems (Mitsubishi, OMRON, Siemens, etc.)
• Familiarity with electrical regulations (CE, UL, Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law, etc.)
• Understanding of noise countermeasures, insulation design, and power supply design
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• English proficiency; Tagalog and Visayan skills preferred
