ERP Project Manager

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Experience Required: 8+ years

Salary: 10,000,000 JPY per annum

Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Eligibility: Native candidates only

Key Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

• Project Management Methodologies (Strong): Extensive experience in managing complex projects from initiation to closure.

• Account Management & Business Development (Strong): Proven ability in client relationship management and identifying growth opportunities.

• ERP Expertise: Hands-on experience with leading ERP platforms (e.g., Rootstock, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).

• Japanese Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Japanese, with the ability to manage stakeholder communication and deliverables in Japanese.


Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, demonstrations, and client presentations.


Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of ERP projects (Rootstock, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.).

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client requirements.

• Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.

• Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates in both English and Japanese.

• Requirements & Analysis:

• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.

• Project Governance:

• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.

• Ensure compliance with organizational goals, industry standards, and best practices.

• Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and third-party consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Implementation Support:

• Facilitate testing, user training, and change management during ERP rollout.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 8+ years of experience in ERP project management.

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese, with strong communication and presentation skills.

• Demonstrated success in managing mid- to large-scale ERP implementations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
