• Product Development: Create new food products (snack food, baked goods, plant-based items) and enhance current ones for flavor, texture, nutrition, and shelf-life.
• Formula & Specification Management: Develop and maintain precise product formulations, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Process Scaling: Scale up benchtop formulations to pilot plant and full-scale production, ensuring consistency.
• Testing & Analysis: Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses; conduct sensory evaluations and nutritional analysis.
• Project Management: Lead projects from ideation through launch, managing timelines and technical challenges.
• Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Quality Assurance (QA/FSQA).
• Compliance: Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory, and internal standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Technical Skills: Food chemistry, ingredient functionality, lab techniques, processing, data analysis, nutritional software (like ESHA).
• Soft Skills: Creativity, problem-solving, project management, attention to detail, communication.
