The HR Specialist is responsible for supporting core HR functions with a focus on end-to-end recruitment, monitoring the implementation of employee discipline, and coordination of training programs. The role requires high attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring timely and effective delivery of HR outputs.


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Selection

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing candidates, and preparing job offers.
  • Coordinate scheduling of interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely feedback.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline and cultivate relationships with potential candidates.
  • Prepare recruitment-related reports and metrics for management review.
  • Ensure adherence to recruitment standards and compliance with company policies.


2. Employee Discipline Monitoring

  • Monitor implementation of company policies and disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist in the issuance and documentation of disciplinary notices, corrective actions, and required paperwork.
  • Track timelines for administrative proceedings to ensure due process compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential disciplinary records.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure consistent application of discipline policies.


3. Training & Development

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of training programs based on training calendars or identified needs.
  • Coordinate with trainers, facilitators, and employees regarding training schedules and requirements.
  • Monitor attendance and completion of training sessions.
  • Prepare training documentation, evaluation tools, and post-training assessment reports.
  • Maintain updated training records and tracker systems.


Other HR Support

  • Assist in drafting internal communication and HR notices with strong attention to clarity and professionalism.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department.
  • Perform duties that may be assigned by the HR Head aligned with HR objectives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in HR functions, with background in recruitment, employee discipline handling, and training management.
  • Strong and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Independent, self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Goal-oriented with strong sense of accountability for end results.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR-related systems/tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of labor standards and disciplinary due process is preferred.
