Job Summary


The HR Specialist supports the day-to-day human resources functions of the company, ensuring efficient implementation of HR processes including timekeeping, employee benefits administration, records management, employee engagement, and new employee orientation. The role ensures compliance with government-mandated benefits and provides administrative support to overall HR operations.


Key Responsibilities

HR Operations Support

  • Provide general support to HR operations and administrative tasks.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines.

Timekeeping & Attendance

  • Manage and monitor employee timekeeping, attendance, and leave records.
  • Coordinate with payroll or finance to ensure accurate attendance data.

Government-Mandated Benefits & Leaves

  • Administer government-mandated benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other statutory requirements.
  • Process employee loans, benefit claims, and leave applications in compliance with labor laws.
  • Ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.

Health & Insurance Benefits

  • Coordinate administration of HMO and group life insurance benefits.
  • Serve as point of contact for employees regarding benefit inquiries and claims.

Employee Engagement

  • Assist in planning and organizing company events, employee activities, and engagement programs.
  • Support initiatives that promote employee morale and company culture.

Records Management

  • Maintain and update employee 201 files (physical and digital).
  • Ensure proper filing, confidentiality, and accuracy of employee records.

New Employee Orientation

  • Conduct or assist in new employee orientation programs.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and ensure completion of pre-employment and orientation requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in HR operations, benefits administration, or HR administration is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and government-mandated benefits.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks.
