Overview

Uncle Bob’s is a fast-growing health and wellness FMCG brand. The Operations Manager will take full ownership of daily operations to bring structure, speed, and consistency as the business scales retail distribution, kiosk expansion, and production.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations across production, inventory, deliveries, and store fulfillment.
• Ensure orders are packed, dispatched, and delivered correctly and on time.
• Create and maintain a smooth weekly operations rhythm, including production schedules, delivery schedules, and replenishment cycles.
• Implement inventory tracking and stock forecasting for raw materials and finished goods.
• Manage supplier ordering, lead times, and cost control.
• Prevent stockouts and reduce wastage and spoilage.
• Maintain quality standards across all production batches.
• Ensure correct labeling, packaging, hygiene, and storage protocols.
• Improve production efficiency without compromising freshness.
• Build, document, and improve SOPs and workflows with clear checklists for operations tasks.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead, train, and manage the operations team with clear accountability and standards.
• Set weekly goals and track execution and performance.
• Support expansion by operationalizing new branches and kiosk operations.
• Strengthen backend systems to support business growth.
• Coordinate closely with founders on scaling plans.

Qualifications

• Strong operations management experience in fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, supply chain, and numbers accurately.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Proficient in tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, and project or task management platforms.
• Experience in FMCG, food and beverage, retail operations, kitchen commissary, or startup environments is an advantage.
• Experience managing production, deliveries, and staff within a single operational system is an advantage.

• Orders are dispatched on time with minimal errors.
• Inventory is accurately tracked with no unexpected shortages or overstock.
• Wastage and spoilage are consistently reduced.
• SOPs are followed and executed consistently by the team.
• Operations remain stable and efficient as sales volume and locations increase.
