Web3 Payment Operations Specialist (Bilingual in Chinese and English)

Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for daily payment operations, including managing transaction workflows, account reconciliation, handling exceptions, and risk control. You will collaborate closely with internal teams (such as Compliance) and external partners (including banks, payment providers, cryptocurrency liquidity providers, etc.), take end-to-end ownership of issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement, automation, and scalability of processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payment service providers (e.g., banks, payment companies) and cryptocurrency liquidity providers to ensure timely processing of customer orders; record and post funds to customer accounts as soon as they arrive; and respond promptly to banks’ requests for information (RFIs) to maintain a smooth transaction process.
• Own and optimize operational processes, maintaining high standards of accuracy and risk control.
• Ensure operational efficiency and compliance by identifying potential risks and implementing effective risk mitigation measures.
• Continuously improve workflows and introduce new frameworks and SOPs as needed to enhance efficiency and business scalability.
• Communicate with customers to resolve transaction-related issues (such as bank RFIs), including reconciliation, fund tracking, exception handling, chargebacks, and disputes.
• Provide transaction data analysis and assist the Operations Lead with reconciliations and related reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of operational experience in a bank, payment company, fintech firm, or cryptocurrency exchange.
• Strong analytical skills with an in-depth understanding of the payments industry (e.g., SWIFT cross-border payments, stablecoin on/off-ramp processes).
• Fluent in Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High integrity and transparency, with strict adherence to compliance and risk-control requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced, international environment.
• Capability to resolve complex payment-related issues efficiently and accurately.
