We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Technology Intern to take full ownership of developing a modern Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for our recruitment business. Over a 6-month internship, you will plan, design, and build an end-to-end ATS independently, using widely adopted tools and modern software practices.


This is a hands-on, solo role ideal for a self-starter who wants to gain full product development experience, from concept to deployment, in a real-world recruitment context.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire development lifecycle of the ATS, including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Build core ATS functionalities such as:
  1. Candidate database management
  2. Resume parsing & storage
  3. Job posting management
  4. Workflow automation (interview scheduling, email notifications)
  5. Reporting & analytics dashboards
  • Integrate the system with email, calendar, and job boards.
  • Ensure the system is secure, user-friendly, and scalable.
  • Research, select, and implement modern tools and frameworks suitable for a solo developer.
  • Document your work for future reference and possible handover.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and iterate to improve functionality.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience in full-stack web development:
  1. Backend: Python (Django/Flask), Node.js, or PHP
  2. Frontend: React.js, Vue.js, Angular, or similar
  3. Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, version control (Git), and deployment practices.
  • Ability to design, plan, and execute projects independently.
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn on the fly and explore new tools or frameworks as needed.
  • Knowledge of resume parsing/NLP to extract candidate info.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries for dashboards.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Understanding of recruitment processes or HR workflows.
