Payroll Officer 

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing: Manage bi-monthly payroll cycles (usually 15th and 30th) for 30-50 employees, ensuring accuracy in basic pay, overtime, night differential, and holiday pay.

Statutory Compliance: Calculate and remit monthly mandatory contributions:

• SSS:
• PhilHealth: 
• Pag-IBIG: 
• Tax Administration: Compute withholding taxes based on the latest BIR graduated tax tables and file monthly reports (BIR Form 1601-C).
• Time & Attendance: Monitor daily time records (DTR), manage leaves (SIL, Maternity, Paternity), and track tardiness or absences.
• Year-End Procedures: Process the mandatory 13th-month pay and lead the annual "tax substitution" filing (BIR Form 2316) for all employees.
• Employee Support: Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related concerns, loan applications (SSS/Pag-IBIG), and benefits claims.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Philippine payroll processing.
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with payroll software (e.g., Sprout, Zoho, or local Excel-based systems).
• Familiarity with government online portals (SSS, PhilHealth EPRS, Pag-IBIG Virtual).
