Purpose of the Job

To oversee and optimize the management, utilization, and maintenance of company

assets, ensuring accurate asset tracking and lifecycle planning. The role supports

operational efficiency and strategic decision-making through effective asset planning and coordination.

Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to the following:

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all company assets, including equipment, machinery, and materials.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize asset utilization and lifespan.
• Plan and coordinate asset acquisition, allocation, maintenance, and disposal activities.
• Monitor asset performance and condition, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely availability and deployment of assets.
• Prepare reports on asset status, utilization, and forecasts to support budgeting and operational planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to asset management.
• Support audit processes by providing detailed asset records and documentation.

Desired Knowledge / Experience

• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance planning, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and safety standards related to equipment and asset handling.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams for asset allocation and project support.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project).

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in asset lifecycle management and planning principles.
