Product Manager (Social Tools, Chat, Community Applications)
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the end-to-end planning and management of communication software products. You will lead product strategy, feature design and data-driven optimization.
1. Product Planning & Strategy
• Develop a long-term product roadmap for communication software, adjusting priorities based on market demand and data analysis.
• Stay current on Mainland China communication product trends, proposing innovative features and business models.
2. Prototype Design & Requirement Management
• Use Axure to create high-fidelity prototypes that clearly convey design logic and user flows.
• Draft detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and collaborate with design and development teams to ensure successful implementation.
3. Data Analysis & Optimization
• Utilize Excel or SPSS for user behavior and product data analysis, providing data-driven optimization recommendations.
• Validate product hypotheses through A/B testing and user feedback to continuously improve user experience and business metrics.
4. Flowcharts & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Employ flowchart tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) to map business logic and system architecture, ensuring team alignment on requirements.
• Lead product iteration cycles, coordinating design, development, QA and operations teams to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.
5. Market & User Research
• Analyze competitors and industry dynamics (e.g., WeChat, QQ) to identify product differentiation opportunities.
• Conduct user interviews and surveys to gain deep insights into target user needs.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Analytics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software product planning experience; prior experience with communication or social products preferred.
Core Skills
• Expert in Axure with the ability to independently design complex interactive prototypes.
• Proficient with flowchart tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and strong logical organization skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or SPSS for data processing and analysis; SQL skills a plus.
Experience & Achievements
• Proven track record of successfully launched products; familiar with Mainland China development processes and market ecosystem.
• Experience in 0-to-1 product planning or leading major feature iterations preferred.
