PYTHON DEVELOPER

Work Setup: Fully Remote

Employment Type: Independent Contractor

This position is open to Filipino applicants residing in the Philippines only.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications built using Python.
• Support an existing application written using Kivy (Python GUI framework).
• Debug issues, refactor code, and implement feature updates in the current codebase.
• Collaborate with project leads or other developers to deliver tasks and improvements.
• Assist with documentation, testing, and technical handover as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development skills (core requirement)
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and debugging
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently in a remote setup
• Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, ClickUp, Notion, or similar
• Stable internet connection and reliable laptop/PC setup

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Kivy — preferred but not strictly required
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn Kivy if not yet experienced
• Experience working on desktop or internal Python applications
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
• Exposure to automation, APIs, or basic testing practices

Work Setup & Schedule

• 100% Remote (Work-from-Home)
• Schedule may vary depending on client timezone (PH, US, or AU-based)
• Technical screening, onboarding, and client matching provided
