We are recruiting on behalf of a leading plastic injection moulder for medical components, established in 1992, certified with ISO13485, ISO9001 & ISO14001, and located in Cheras. They are specialized in Medical, Pharmaceutical, Lab Equipment, Spectacles and many other products.

Position Title: QA Executive

Working Location: Cheras, Selangor, Malaysia

Working Hours: 5 Days, Mon-Fri

Duration: Permanent

Role Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Product Quality & Customer Support:

~ Ensure all products delivered to customers meet specified requirements.

~ Conduct CAPA (corrective and preventive action) on all customer failures.

~ Oversee rework/sorting activities (onsite & for returned goods)

~ Negotiate with customers on quality-related issues (e.g., dimension discrepancies, measurement methods).

Process & Quality Management:

~ Collaborate with production teams to improve processes.

~ Conduct internal audits and perform failure analysis.

~ Identify and resolve process problems affecting throughput or quality.

~ Implement solutions, evaluate effectiveness, and stabilize processes.

Nonconformance Management:

~ Ensure proper handling of in-house parts per the Control of Nonconforming Product/Process Procedure (QS-NC-P01) upon customer complaints.

~ Monitor and manage product quarantine status.

~ Disposition of nonconforming parts and approval of internal waivers.

~ Recall parts from warehouse when necessary (due to customer complaints or internal issues).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

~ Supervise Senior Supervisors, Supervisors, and Leaders to ensure compliance with QMS and EMS requirements.

~ Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

~ Minimum Diploma or equivalent.

~ At least 2 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in plastic injection moulding.

~ Good communication and supervisory skills.

~ Proficient in Microsoft Office and email.

~ Skilled in using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, push-pull gauges, pin gauges, height gauges).

~ Preferably trained in Awareness and Internal Auditing for ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
