PV Design Engineer / Solar Design Engineer (Part-Time / Freelance)

Job Description
- Design and optimize photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Conduct site assessments and analyze feasibility.
- Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams using PVsyst
- Assist in selecting components and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and installers to ensure smooth execution.
- Experience in designing PV systems
- Proficiency in solar design software such as PVsyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and solar industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality designs within deadlines.
- Preferably with experience in local permitting and net metering processes (if applicable).
