Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required

• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and file income tax returns, VAT, withholding tax, and other required tax reports

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and coordinate with relevant government agencies (e.g., BIR in the Philippines)

• Provide tax planning and advisory services, identifying legal tax-saving opportunities

• Maintain accurate digital and physical tax records, including receipts and invoices

• Conduct research on tax laws and analyze financial data for efficient tax reporting

• Support internal and external audits and assist during tax authority examinations
